Reverend James Feist
Minister of Music
Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, was Jim’s home until graduating from high school. He served four years in the U.S. Air Force before landing in Tampa, Florida.
Jim attended the University of Tampa where he met and married his wife, Melody, both music majors, before his senior year. Jim was valedictorian of U.T.’s 1983 graduating class, earning a Bachelor of Music degree with a double concentration in music theory and music education.
Jim has worked for the Internal Revenue Service since September, 1986. In January, 2002, he was promoted to the Office of Appeals as a Settlement Officer. In 2012, Jim was selected as National Settlement Office of the Year.
Although his training and personal experience in music were primarily secular, since his salvation, Jim has dedicated his life to presenting spiritual music that encourages the listener to focus on Jesus Christ, and the ministry’s participants to grow stronger in their Christian faith and walk.
