Dr. Ronald Churchill grew up in Chattanooga, Tennessee and is a graduate of Baylor University. He holds a Master of Divinity degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and a Doctor of Ministry degree from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.
Dr. Churchill has led over 150 revivals and over 500 Single Adult Conferences all over America. He has many published articles and authored a regular monthly column in the Christian Single Magazine. In addition, he has appeared on television talk shows in Florida, Texas and Tennessee. He has held many positions in city and state denominational offices.
He was the founder of the Pregnancy Care Center in Plant City, Florida (1992). He was the co-founder and first president of the Evangelical University and Seminary in 2007. He received the “Minister of the Year” award from the Shiloh Baptist Association in Plant City, Florida (1999). For 21 years Dr. Churchill was pastor of the First Baptist Church of Plant City, Florida where the membership grew from 1,500 to 3,500 and has been pastor for the past five years at Trinity Baptist Church in Sun City Center.
Reverend James Feist
Minister of Music
Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, was Jim’s home until graduating from high school. He served four years in the U.S. Air Force before landing in Tampa, Florida.
Jim attended the University of Tampa where he met and married his wife, Melody, both music majors, before his senior year. Jim was valedictorian of U.T.’s 1983 graduating class, earning a Bachelor of Music degree with a double concentration in music theory and music education.
Jim has worked for the Internal Revenue Service since September, 1986. In January, 2002, he was promoted to the Office of Appeals as a Settlement Officer. In 2012, Jim was selected as National Settlement Office of the Year.
Although his training and personal experience in music were primarily secular, since his salvation, Jim has dedicated his life to presenting spiritual music that encourages the listener to focus on Jesus Christ, and the ministry’s participants to grow stronger in their Christian faith and walk.
Dr. Thomas C. Townsend
Dr. Townsend served as a senior pastor for 28 years and as an interim pastor for 14 years. He has served the Baptist Children's homes in Florida and Kentucky as the director for development and communication. He has also served as Executive director of Life International, a humanitarian ministry to orphans and orphanages in the Ukraine. He is married to Mary Jo and they have five children and ten grandchildren.
