There is a song that says, "I'm just a nobody telling everybody about somebody that can change anybody!"

Jeff was born in Winter Haven, Florida, 5th generation Floridian of ancestors who came to Florida as Baptist missionaries before the Civil War. He is a graduate of Winter Haven High School and Troy University, Troy, Alabama.  His parents are committed Christians and he has been in church since before he was born.

Jeff accepted Jesus into his heart at the age of 8 and was baptized at First Baptist Church of Eagle Lake, Florida and began serving as Minister of Music and Youth while still in University at Zion Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Jack, Alabama.

Upon graduating from the university, he accepted the full time ministry call from Eastside Baptist Church, Haines City, Florida and then First Baptist Church, Jasper, Florida. Jeff was ordained to the Gospel Ministry and later as Worship and Education Pastor until retirement after 36 years to care for his now 93 year old father.
